There are some account conflicts that we commonly run in to. The most common conflict is when a client has a bank account and a credit card at the same financial institution. If you were to enroll the credit card or a personal loan at the same financial institution that you have a checking or a savings account with then the institution can go after the assets in those accounts at the time of settlement. We always recommend that if this is the case, you close the checking and savings account and open them at a different financial institution.
