Credit Card Balance Transfers
In an effort to lure consumers to their credit cards, many companies offer free balance transfers from your old credit card to a new credit card. Once the money is owed to the new company, they will often provide a grace period where they charge less interest on the transferred balances. Finding two, one, or even zero percent interest rates are possible. Often, these introductory rates last for six months to a year.
